Not what I thought it would be, honestly very mediocore.
Graphics: I dont want to complain about its graphics, there not good but its obviously not a selling point of the game.
Presentation: While MAG has no real story, persistent enviroment, or any main characters I would say OK for what there is to present/
Performance: This is my BIGGEST gripe, it performs terribly. While most matches are lag free some have lag. ALL vehicles are ALWAYS laggy, ALWAYS. Just jump in one and youll see you jump around and rubber band terribly. The other issue is freezing. This game freezes a lot. Litterally froze on me 6 consecutive times. Its terrible and it loves to freeze at any point in the game.
Gameplay: Do you like learning curves? Cause MAG is a cliff of a learning curve. The aiming, jumping, knifing, vehicles, upgrades etc take a very long time to get down. Especially the aiming, MAG has very imprecise weapons (including snipers) that make shooting very difficult.
Balance: The other games major fault is complete lack of balance in weapons. Vehicles, while limited, are fairly balanced, but infantry weapons are the farthest thing from it. The LMG's will dominate you, always, because of their huge clip and high damage these are everywhere, and almost unbeatable in any situation because they have the same range as a sniper. Assault rifles arent much better. Sniping is practically useless because they do only marginally higher damage than LMG's and AR's, with greatly reduced fire rate. So prepare to easily have 2/30 KDR's because of LMG's. Even if you think your good MAG will take you down many notches.
Overall this was an ambitious project with to many major faults. Its repetitive and rather dull. If you REALLY want it then I cant stop you from buying it. But dont expect anything like Battlefield or Call of Duty, you know, something good.
