Quite simply,Mafia is one of the best gangster games.
This game makes Mafia 2 look like a joke.

Really good for its time,In my opinion it looks very good.
But due to the fact that it is an old game,it gets an 8.

Absolutely great sound.The music is very good,sound overall is very nice.

It has very nice gameplay,but it is kinda limited.
I dont know how to describe this,but for example:
Jumping is very limited,you cant jump to most places,
I hate the fact that you cant sprint
Shooting is Very nice,not many problems with that in my opinion.

Used to have a pretty big modding community,but the whole community has died of as of recently.
Very capable of big mods.

Not much to say here,the difficulty is just right,but needs a option,for the weaker or tougher players.
