Glitch ridden

This years rendition fails to live up to the brand. It's glitch ridden, the game play is unnecessarily burdened with unrealistic changes, it's repetitive in an annoying way, and easy to bore with.

What would have sufficed is the smooth graphical performance and game play of Madden 11 with the bells and whistles of this year's "enhancements" of presentation and franchise features.

Among the glitches and game play nuisances noticed so far:

"The New York Titans;"
Challenge decisions are commented on backwards;
Damn near EVERY pass without touch is deflected en-route;
Franchise rookie scouting is pretty much useless;
The pre-game introductions were a neat addition, but are useless if you do a fantasy draft in a franchise.

And the start-of-game commentary is always the same!

All in all, a disappointment, but what else can we do?
