An original approach on marble games and death match shooting with solid game play. But not quite the hit I expected.

Today I bought this game from the Arcade Live section of xbox. Why I bought it? Because I saw the high user score on Gamespot. I thought I could try this for a change. Because of the original approach of two game types mixing up into a game of hard action this could be something for me.

It's innovative at first sight but it seems to missed some content and original destruction like scenery demolition and some over the top things. It's rather a basic game that sticks to the roots of those marble games and the death match concept of killing each other.
You can earn points and upgrade in-game to newer types of weapons for killing your enemy. The maps are properly balanced for the right game play when you are with the right amount of players - but sometimes too big or too small.

The graphics are rather basic and don't add too much to the game experience. It's all about the game play : rolling your ball and shooting things. After all it's fun and I could say this is a nice game for a certain time. I think playing more advanced games this game is good for a change if you are bored and want to play a fast action game for some rounds.

Don't forget the single player campaign! They really did their best to make this game worth buying and I really appreciate the effort making a single player campaign. Every game should have one no matter what. It's fun to play and straight forward shooting your way through the levels. Trying open gates to new parts of the map and upgrading your weapons is a nice change instead of playing online.

Not quite an ultimate action game, but plain fun with basic playability. If you got some points support these guys for a nice game and get a solid plain fun game in return! Worth buying, worth playing!
