A great game, a great legacy

Lunar 2 for the playstation 1 is a great game filled with countless of hours filled with great story, great characters and great cut scenes. Lunar 2 has that special thing most rpg's dont. The dungeons are filled with pretty neat colors and the enemies can sometimes get difficult if you try to speed trough the game but its good because it makes you explore more of the game. The characters are not shallow nor dull, they all have their own personality and their own great advantages. The towns dont all look the same and talking to people is either helpful or just makes you laugh alittle to what the people say to you. The fighting style is the same as lunar 1, sometimes if the enemies are too far you wont be able to reach em with a small range but the magic spells and special moves are really cool and are really colorful, the boss fights if you dont have a good strategy, can get really difficult. the game has really good animations. the game does not have a million side quests but the ones it has are pretty awesome. the cut scenes are really nice anime styled animations, unlike alot of games from its time it has really good voice acting. this version of lunar 2 has been upgraded since its first realese in the sega cd, the cutscenes designs and art have been revamped and made a great port to the play station 1. Overall Lunar 2 has become a gem to be had by all rpg fans, the replay factor is high and overall all the time you put into this game will be worth it and filled with hundreds of great fun and gameplay. You cant say no to this great play station gem, find a copy and play it to play a great game.
