A miserable failure from the very start

I began this game by starting with the training. I have tried for an hour to pass the very first obstacle course with no success. There is no indication, clue, instructions are anything else helpful to tell you what you need to do to complete the course (or even how to start it). The instruction manual tells you nothing. It doesn't even describe what the numbers on the screen mean. I assumed that the "C1" and "C2" underneath the game map indicated "Challenge 1" and "2" and that a time would fill in the blanks behind them after being completed but I continue to come up with a "Mission Fail" at the end of the course. The in-game PDA which I guess tells you mission objectives in the actual game doesn't give you any information either. The on screen mini-map is also remarkably blank. When a game isn't even remotely intuitive in its training I am not sure I want to see the rest of the game. I am thoroughly frustrated and no game should start you out this way.
