Seriously boring dungeon design and mindless mouse clickings.
Aesthetically, even though the sound is good, it becomes annoying with the heavily repetitive gameplay. Graphic-wise, though the 3D models look professional and detailed, the color palette is strangely flat and muddy. Well, the particle effects are superb I shall say, with mirage-inducing flames and smoky poison clouds, to describe a few, but comes with a steep PC requirement.
The gameplay, amidst of all these issues, becomes a drag, with occasional bugs taking away whatever bit of enthusiasm left in you. Because of the tedious monster grinding and dull pathfinding, the sparse checkpoints becomes a serious spoil-sport.
So, from the way I see it, Loki does have a potential setup, but is unfortunately taxed with problems that would shun away even the most dedicated action RPG fan. The only reason you would want to bother complete this game is because you're waiting for Diablo 3.
