It looks great but it doesn't feel great unless solving puzzles is your favorite thing.

Black and atmospheric and all that. Really great. But you have to be into puzzle solving or it just might not feel all that great as every other review make it sound. Some puzzles are hard to crack (also known as "challenging").If you force yourself to come back at a puzzle you've become stuck with until you crack it no matter how long it takes and get an immense satisfaction from finally solving the puzzle then this game is for you and you'll love it. But if you are more like me that you get very frustrated when you just stand there and don't know what to do and don't get much satisfaction from when you actually do solve puzzles that were hard then there is little to write home about. Because you've heard the music after a while, you've experienced the atmosphere after a while and there is no story. The boy just starts running and eventually it'll end. And then you get to read on the internet what the story was about. Maybe the developers wrote on their hompage what they meant by the game but I don't do that kind of research.

A difficult puzzle is not like a difficult raid/boss in Demon's Souls. You don't make progress or improve your skills in puzzles in order to win. Either you solve it or you don't. So practice does not make perfect here. And that sort of difficulty where you can never seek revenge if you fail, it doesn't sit well with me.
