This game is GREAT and lives up to the Lego franchise!
The game is a great mix of adventure and puzzle solving that also provides the player with plenty of goals while going through levels. So, unlike other games where your goal is merely to get to the end of the level, in Lego:HP the player can try to unlock new characters, the pieces of the house crest, red and gold bricks, and achieve true wizard status.
I really enjoy that you have to work your way through the game to meet its potential. Just like Harry, you don't come in to Hogwarts knowing every spell to tackle every obstacle. You learn as you advance, and then must return to some levels to unlock all of the great things about this game.
The game is also... Cute. There's no other word to describe it. The characters have made me laugh on numerous occasion, the level design is great, and overall the game is just fun.
Lego:HP is a good game whether you're a fan or not. I just hope they continue on and make year 5-7!
