Remember the good old days of Sonic The Hedgehog & Super Mario Bros? Well Lego Batman for me, at least, is probably the 3D platform game to match these two greats in terms of playability.

THE GOOD.

Collecting Studs/Coins to spend on upgrades for the various Batman & Robin suits (which also can be used with Bat Girl & Nightwing) is a great touch, also the fact that once you have completed a level with Batman/Robin you can 'Free-Play' the level again with any character you wish (providing you have unlocked them) collecting 'Barrels' & 'Red Bricks' to unlock further more stuff.

THE BAD.

I seriously cannot think of anything bad to say about it and the fact that the whole 'Lego' series has gone from strength to strength speaks for itself.

I am already waiting very patiently for the release of 'Lego: The Lord Of The Rings' (released October 30) with Lego: Indiana Jones 1 & 2, Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Lego: Pirates Of The Caribbean to keep me entertained until then.

The Lego series is definitely a winner no-matter which game you buy first, but be warned, YOU WILL BUY THE REST!!!
