Going into Legendary I expected a pretty basic First-Person Shooter and for the most part that's what I got. What I didn't expect were the 20-30 second load times. I mean, it's not like the levels are very big or complex to justify all that loading. Couple that with unskippable cutscenes and there are times where your patience will be tested. I actually quit playing a couple of times because of this. The other big negative is the repetitive level design. I'm fine with sewer levels but not when half the game takes place in them. Other than that I found the game entertaining. It plays and looks a lot like FEAR 2 which is a plus if you are a fan of that series. Also even though the weapon selection is pretty standard ( Pistol, Assault Rifle, Shotgun etc.) they are all fictional which I always like. It also gets points for the unique premise. In closing, the game is fun but you'll have to exercise some patience at several points in the game. Dying, having to sit through a long loading screen, and then being forced to watch a two minute cutscene before you can get back into the action gets old fast.
