Left 4 Dead is a solid co-op based experience. Whether you are blasting zombie's heads off, or finding the best way to avoid them, you will have a good time. I like the fact that it is zombie killing, it is fun and full of gore. That being said, while playing this game, personally, I miss plain ol' death match game types. All of Left 4 Dead is wither surviving for as long as possible, or making it from point A to B or preventing the opposition from making it from A to B. This is fun for the most part, but it can get somewhat tedious. The gameplay is great, but the graphics really hurt the experience. Even though they are not terrible, they are not great by any means. The sound is very good. I enjoy the sound effect and the music and how they create a great, spooky atmosphere. Overall, this is a solid multiplayer game that you cannot go wrong with.
