Plain and simple: this was a very disappointing attempt at a pinball game.
Controls are simple enough, but the screen shifts up and down to show the complete playing field, at such a speed it’s impossible to follow. Trying to get skill shots falls down to just plain luck; blindly hitting the flippers can result in scores just as high.
The graphics were great, showing off icons from the KISS universe. This would be a fantastic pinball machine off screen.
Music was limited, with two tracks looped endlessly. Some good riffs, but wears out after the frustration of trying to hit the ball at light speed.
As a KISS fan, I’ve kept this game just for sentimental value, but I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone, even a fellow fan. It’s an embarrassment and a waste of space in a game library. --*
