Best remake of an original and more. :D

User Rating: 10 | Kirby Super Star Ultra DS
Right from the beginning, the game was addictive enough: the enhanced visuals and somewhat revamped audio made this game a must-have for me. Sure, anyone who played Kirby Super Star in the SNES might have the easiest time with Spring Breeze, Dyna Blade, Great Cave Offensive, Revenge of Meta Knight, and Milkyway Wishes.

But the new modes: The True Arena (All bosses from Revenge of the King and the "Last 4"), Revenge of the King (A harder version of Spring Breeze. It really is a harder version. Trust me.), Meta Knightmare Ultra (Play Spring Breeze, Dyna Blade, Great Cave Offensive, Revenge of Meta Knight, and Milkyway Wishes.), and Helper to Hero (Play as a helper to defeat 13 bosses).

These modes were a great improvement to the gameplay of Kirby Super Star Ultra. However, the new bosses will be difficult for veterans and new players alike, especially in The True Arena. Getting past that one will be a very difficult task, but it is beatable, the last boss of the Last 4 was pretty difficult...

Anyways, the new movies are like those from Kirby 64, except it's better detailed. And we get the full story of Milkyway Wishes in this revamped version. In KSS, we only see Kirby going to random places and out of nowhere, a thing called Marx becomes Uber Strong. That's what perplexed me for some time. But with this version, we uncover the whole story.

Overall, Kirby Super Star Ultra is a good game for Kirby Fans and those new to the series. Addictive gameplay and revamped visuals makes this game a true must-have for DS owners.
