A decent racing game. Definately geared toward younger fans, but it's fun, easy, and it looks great!

When my little brother got this game for Christmas, I was a little worried. I didn't think that it would be very fun at all, but for him, he loved it. So when I picked it up and started playing, I found out it was actually a fun little racing game, and some aspects of it were pretty sweet.

The graphics, for one, are awesome. The tracks look really good, and the characters look good. There are some breathtaking sights in this game, and its pretty cool to stop and enjoy the visuals for a second on one of the grand levels. The game has quite a lot of races, but it's really the other things in the game that make this an enjoyable experience. The minigames are quite interesting, but exciting. And there is one game where it's kind of like Grand Theft Auto, Kirby style: an open city, you and a couple of other racers going around trying to beat eachother. It's quite interesting, with such a varied landscape, but it all comes together nicely.

The sound is decent, and the replay value is okay, but there is one main flaw with this game: it's way too easy! You don't even have to push anything to go forward in the race... it does that for you. I swear to God that my little bro beat me in a race and he wasn't even doing anything! That wil deter all hardcore gamers from even wanting to touch this game unless they are playing with younger relatives.

I would say rent this game. It's not as bad as everyone says it is. If you have a young cousin or family member, try this game with them. it's much more fun when you're playing with someone who really loves video games, regardless of how you think they are. Check this game out! It may just open up your eyes to try games that aren't rated high on the internet or in magazines...
