Excellent Game with flash and substance.

This game is very good. It has an interesting story line that is pretty easy to follow and doesn't overdo it like a LOT of games out there today with too much cinematic production. It's a game not a movie...and it sticks to that theory keeping you in the action yet telling a good story while you play. The game play is crisp and accurate and feels "powerful". Similar to a Gods of War feel. The control scheme is great and it allows you to use your Xbox 360 controller with the PC version of the game with seamless support. The art in this game is very unique. They use a mix of different colors to create a very vivid environment that makes for GREAT eye candy. The game itself has a TON of content. There is enough to stretch your money across 250+ hours of game play. The developers put a lot of work into the details of this game. It feels polished and complete which is more than I can say for a lot of games on the market today including ones that gamespot gave critical acclaim to. This has a very different feel than other open world role playing games. It's technically not true open world where the game play is non linier and mobs scale to level. This IS a pretty linier game but it's a good one. It is also not open world in the sense where you can jump off edges etc. Actually, there is no "voluntary" jumping in this game at all. So, there are limitations that you may not see in other games, but it doesn't hinder the game play experience. It's a fresh game with almost endless hours of great RPG play.
