A truly magnificent experience...
Graphics: 9/10
The graphics in this game amazed me. I was completely unaware that even the Xbox could support so many well detailed units on screen at one time. The character models are great.
Gameplay: 6/10
Don't get me wrong, this is an awesome game. But, you've killed one dark elf division, you've killed 'em all. The only drawback to this game falls in this category. It's great for a while, but eventually it starts to feel really repetitive. The controls are fairly simple, and the learning curve is fairly low,
(well, compared to some games...), and the feeling you get when you crush your enemies with your superior power is wonderous, (for a while...). The difficulty may turn some players away from this game. You'll find yourself repeating missions over and over until you want to scream, but if you turn it off and come back later with a cool head, you'll be fine.
Sound 7/10
The music was average for this game. I like seeing a cavalier run a guy over to he sound of heavy metal guitars as much as the next guy, and at times the music seems to fit just right with the gameplay, but it's the lack of variety thats the killer. You'll be repeating missions over and over and hearing the same song over and over... (you get my point...)
Value: 9/10
This game is great. I can't stress that enough. As hard as it is, if you like a challenge, you'll be coming back to this game for a long time.
This game is awesome. If you liked the original, go out and buy it, but if you've never heard of this before, its definitley a rental.
Spend 10 bucks, take it home for a couple of days, and see if this game is right for you!
