A game that really truly feels like it could be a Disney movie, while still being a great game.

User Rating: 10 | Kingdom Hearts PS2
The main brilliance of Kingdom Hearts is the fact that the Disney stories and altogether Disney "feel" is so well crafted into the game. It seems like Square really let Disney almost make up the entire basis for the game and everything, while they just did the mechanics and production. You really get the Disney spirit while playing the game; it's almost like watching a very long interactive Disney movie. And the story is convincing enough to be one. Gameplay is an exciting experience when you want it to be, although it can be very easy if you don't play on hard mode. Like all good Square games, it provides plenty of extra stuff to do apart from the main storyline, and can easily keep you occupied for upwards of 75 hours. And if you are a really hardcore gamer and want a challenge in a fairly easy game, then there are a number of secret bosses to be fought that will probably suit your needs (the Sephiroth fight is epically, no, legendarily hard). But if you're just wanting a relaxing fun game, or you have kids playing it who may not be advanced enough to play the upper levels, then the Easy Mode will greatly oblige your needs. Basically, if you want to play a video game and experience Disney all at the same time (which I assume you do if you buy the game), then Kingdom Hearts definitely does not disappoint.
