I don't remember 14 yeas or whatever amount of years ago when I first played Kingdom Hearts if it was as easy as this new entry but Kingdom Hearts lll you can beat with your eyes closed. Having no challenge while playing def. made the game a lot less fun to play. I know there are a lot of kid themed Disney worlds but I didn't know that would impact the gameplay, I thought Square-Enix was going to mix the fun quirkiness of Disney with kick-ass gameplay. As you explore levels you have so many specials, magic and abilities at your disposal it just makes it a cake walk. On any given battle you can use magic, use specials with friends, your key blade has a special and then you have "links" and another meter thing that fills up for more specials. You're overloaded with special attacks which seem fun at first but then it's like.. seriously, is this even fun anymore? Another complaint is that sometimes the cutscenes are so damn long I just want some action and I'm sitting there for 15 minutes watching videos. I don't mind fleshing out a story but DAMN LET ME JUST PLAY THE GAME. Towards the end of the game it got really bad with cutscenes. I timed one to be 23 minutes long, then I was in control, I walked down a hall way and it cued up another 10 min cutscene making it almost unbearable to play. I ended up skipping so many cutscenes I didn't even care anymore. Keep in mind, I don't mind games with long cutscenes but this was seriously ridiculous to the point I almost never want to play this game again. Kingdom Hearts lll has a lot of memorable moments and I wouldn't call it a BAD game but man did it let me down at some points.
