Another Superhero game with a variety of villans and powers.

The only reason I'm not all out cheering for this game is because I just finished Marvel Alliance and this game was somewhat sililar to that game. You play as various members of the Justice League and you have to stop the evil Brainiac and Darkseid from taking over the Earth. The story itself isnt all that bad as Brainiac is trying to steal various objects in order to get a vast power. But the power is actually Darkseid who tricks Brainiac and takes over the world. Of course, that is, until the Justice League steps in.

You start out with Batman and Superman who have to stop the army of robots in Metropolis. After that episode you get to control various members of the League during different levels and you can even select which members you want during a few select levels. Each character has their own special powers and you can even unlock some secret characters not involved in the storyline. The game itself has very smooth controls and the levels are very linear. You pretty much have to smash everything in your way in order to finish each level. Not much else to it. There are some puzzles or special things you have to do on some levels but nothing too difficult. I actually played that game with the invincibility code but it didnt make any of the game less fun. It was a good mix of using specific characters and villians and powers.

Overall this was a fun game to play and the storyline was easy to follow. The mindless smashing of enemies can be boring sometimes but if you mix in the use of different special powers it can be kinda fun. There is a slight RPG element as you can increase your characters level but the main thing is the power-ups and being able to smash the enemies before they hit you. A fun game to play alone but even better with a friend.
