Joe&Mac 2 is a fun prehistoric side scrolling adventure. The best part of the game is getting to smash other cavemen and dinosaurs over the head with a club. The graphics are well drawn and colourful bringing to life a prehistoric setting which spans jungles, caves, and volcanoes. The game play is solid and requires jumping or ducking over and around obstacles and smashing any enemies that cross your path. You can also eat food to give Joe or Mac special powers such as fiery breath to scorch enemies and watery spit to douse flames. Each level ends with a big cool dinosaur boss. The main problem with this game is the lack of depth because there are only about 6 levels and this game can easily be beaten in about 1 hour. It is a good game nothing more and nothing less.
