When I first rented this game, to be honest, I didn't like it one bit. I rented it again, it got a bit better. After my 3rd rent, I fell in love. The gameplay in Jak II is very fun and addicting. Its free roaming, so you don't have to worry about doing constant missions. Theres plenty of guns to choose from, and their all very cool and creative. Its a tough game, so don't expect to beat it right away. One thing I dread a out this game are the races. Their so tough! You mostly have to get to one place to another before the time runs out, and you don't have a lot of time. You have to pretty much memorise the whole track. But everything else is amazing. The graphics are very well done. I haven't seen a slowdown in my whole time playing it. Sometimes, they can be rough, but most of the time, their very smooth. Sound can be rough at times, and very quiet, but most of the time its nice. The music adds a lot of exitement to the gameplay. The sound effects of the guns are very cool and real. Well, this game doesn't have much replay value, but if you just want to go around shooting people, go ahead. Thats one thing about this game. You don't have to do the story all the time. You can just lean back and play! Overall, Jak 2 is an extremely fun game for everyone. Some people are dissappointed with it, but I'm not. I'll look into buying it very soon.
