I first played this game at my friend's house, and it was the single greatest reason I wanted a PS2, (although I'm dying for a PS3 now.) If you don't mind shooting and enjoyed the first game, you'll love Jak II(twice as much fun as the original.) Scratch that, you'll love it anyway. It is primarily a story-based game, and it would help if you played some of the first game beforehand. But if you don't really care about a story line, and just love to be light version of Kratos from God of War and beat people up, this game will also keep you happy. The storyline is sometimes a little dragged out, but great all the same. Daxter brings the humorous shine to the game, and can make you laugh out loud at times. Jak II is by no means short. It isn't Kingdom Hearts, but it will keep you going for a good while. It's mission-based, but not divided into levels. Jak II feels really open-ended as you explore the environment of Haven City. New guns and abilities make it easy to recommend. Actually I beg you to get this game. Want a more-than-solid action game? Look no further than Jak II. BUY IT!
