Jak 2 is one of the best platforming games available for the PS2 system.There are many improvements from the first.Most of the fans of the series will be happy to know that its is alot harder and more fun!And more importanly Jak Talks!The game takes place right after the 1st one ended!Jak and the others were playing with some more precursor crap but this time they end up getting transported to a place called:Haven City".Jak is Immediatley captured and taken in by the krimzon guards.Baron Praxis,has tortured Jak for 2 years with Dark Eco experiments.Finally Daxter comes to rescue him.Afterwards the whole game goes towards getting revenge.Later on in the game they figure out that they have been transported to the future!A new feature added to the game that Jak can use is "Dark Jak" as a result of all the Dark Eco Experiments.This transformation tempirarily boost jak's melee attributes and through the game you will gain new abilities with Dark Jak.Also Jak has a small arsenal.These include a scatter,Blaster,Vulcan Fury,and Peacemaker Guns.Each type of gun is unique and very useful.And Later on in the game Jak will obtain a Jet-board,allowing him to travel faster on land and water than he wuld on foot.The Graphics have slightly been upgraded since the last installment.The Charcters appear more vivid and bolder.There are also some Daxter Minigames!Many Fans have been asking for that.The Game itself is a Mixture of Grand Theft Auto,Tony Hawk,Standard platforming,and Racing.Overall if your looking for a great platformer Jak2 is the game for you.
