Jak Two engulfs you completely with its great characters and plot.

User Rating: 9 | Jak II: Renegade PS2
Jak and Daxter: The Precurser Legacy was a wide adventure full of fun and laughter while collecting the Precurser Orbs. Jack Two, however, goes in a different direction with the "kid friendly" plot and settings. Instead, our heroes are put into Haven City: A depressing, gray town that has a dictator named Baron Praxis. Jak attempts to become a member of "The Underground" (a group of rebels trying to stop the Baron's plans). Thus, an amazing adventure unfolds.

Jak Two's platforming elements are some of the best the PS2 has ever had. It is very easy to move Jak around, even whatever mechanism Jak may have or be in.

Music fits wherever you are in the game. It fits the mood of all the levels and places you will be visiting. There is one problem, though. I have found a few sound effect jumps in the game. Sometimes when one of his gun fires, no noise. Maybe if jak would jump or through a punch, there would be no sound. These problems did not come across all too often; I believe twice. You may come across glitches. Glitches aren't too hard to find if you're looking for them, but you might find a small number of ones when just playing the game. The glitches I found where ones that Jak stuck in mid-air in between objects.

Jak Two will last for around twenty hours. That is just to complete the plot, if you want to accomplish other goals, such as side-quests with finding the Precurser Orbs, that could take you a few more hours. Regardless, you will find something that you like in the game. You will find things you don't like, such as the sometimes frustrating missions you must do. Give Jak Two a try because you'll end up liking it.
