Naughty Dog ends the triology with a bang, and leaves in every RPG player that feeling of accomplishment most games lack

User Rating: 10 | Jak 3 PS2
Jak III is the third and final episode of the Jak and Daxter triology. Like its predecessors, it had stolen most of the spot light when it hit the market, and was, like Jak I, the ps2's ultimate 3D platformer for quite a bit.

The storyline had no flaws, and I mean that. The sequence of events had been so chronologically organized that one could, on screen, visualize Jak's life the most natural way it might've gone by. The twists, such as Jak's exile, only add to the flavor of the gameplay, especially since the game is able to channel Jak's hatred into the player's mind, stirring up limitless emotion. Also, the game gets spicier when Jak displays certain feelings for both Ashelin and Keira, undoubtedly choosing Kiera in the end to fit the previous Jak and Daxter games. Ironically, Jak ends up saving the lowlifes that exiled him; god I love controversy =) We cannot forget the moment when Jak decides between the universe and his world; that made me smile =J The almighty precursors turned out to be a pack of ottsel furballs, ROFL.

As for the graphics, I'm still hesitant to buy a ps3 after playing this game. Every detail, every texture-related issue, and every special effect had been perfected in a way like no other, providing unique desert-town combat experiences that encourage the player to try different combinations with the controller buttons. Lighting had been an important factor, too. And if that's not enough, you can always grab a desert car, and go on a rampage outside the walls of Spargus City. Maybe the most beautiful scene is just after Jak deals the killing blow to Errol =J In addition, lots of secrets, including mirror world, car unlocks, weapon upgrades, etc etc... are all available for you experimenting fellows with a knack to see some cool fireworks =P Do not forget the scrapbooks which provide good-looking photography of the Jak and Daxter series, and the Character Viewer option which lets you see and zoom in on EVERY character(and NPCs) of all the Jak and Daxter games.
