Overall, a good, fun game, that will appeal to any rpg gamer or fan of Bioware's work

This is my review on Jade Empire, the new new game from Bioware, creaters of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Baldur's Gate. The game follows the life of a young man or woman, whoever you choose, in a sort of feudal age in China, and the game is set in the Jade Empire, a place in China with mythical creatures and supernatural beings. The game plays pretty well, with real tme fighting with sort of a rock paper scissors combat, there being quick attack, strong attack and block. There are over 25 styles you can choose from that you switch with the d-pad. The combat is somewhat repetitive and gets boring quicky. But the story of the game is well done, and some surprising twists keep the game fresh. The graphics are very well done, with little to no glitches or bugs, like there was in Kotor. The characters faces are the only bd thing about the graphics, and their faces still look different from the next guys. The sound fits the age perfectly. The little background music is good, and each npc you encounter has something to say. The game has some impressive value. The game can last anywhere from 10 to 40 hours, and that could be even longer if you search everywhere and try to get the highest level you can be. And if you get the limited edition, like I did, you get a second disc with the Monk Zeng character and his spade staff style. The disc also has some game demos. The game is overall a good game from Bioware, and its outstanding graphics and good value make it a worthwhile game. At least rent this game.
