I want to like this game. I really, really do. I just can't. Why the PS3/360 version was canned we'll probably never know. In their place we got a game with bad visuals, and perhaps the most atrocious excuse for a control system ever. First off, its not all bad. The best part of the game is more than likely the only reason anyone would even give it a look: the story. The story of Staff of Kings is well written and actually far better than the last Indy film. This adventure has Indy traveling the globe in a race against the Nazis (although they are only referred to as the germans and have a weird cross thing instead of a swastika for arm bands) to recover the Staff of Moses. At its best, the story feels like a lost script for a film. At its worst, it is nothing but another half-hearted knockoff. The visuals are outdated even for the already outdated Wii. But the game really kills itself in its horrific controls. Everything is done with the use of motion controls, which are incredibly unresponsive. I mean did anyone actually **** test this game before it was released? Wouldn't someone have discovered this? Maybe they were high. They really sucker you into buying the game by including the Fate of Atlantis with it, but don't do it. It's not worth it. This game is terrible, end of story.
