At first Idol Death Game TV looks like your standard run off the mill cutesy idol game.But it does bring a darker side with it as the game progresses you will have to participate in events called "Death Lives". which are basically just like the class trials you do in games like Danganronpa but more leaning towards the idol side of things.The story is based around 7 girls being brought into a western style mansion to compete in a gameshow called D.O.D which is hosted by a tapir looking bear called Doripakku.
