The Hulk doesn't really go in the direction it should.

User Rating: 6.4 | Hulk XBOX
Gameplay: 7
Why: At times, controlling The Hulk is pure joy, and truly immerses the player into the role of the biggest green giant on the planet, but at other times the gameplay is tedious at best.

You have the option of playing a standard campaign but that isn't where the fun is. If you want true Hulk smash fun, go ballistic in the challenege modes and try to top your high scores. That's where the game excells. You get to pick up objects and smah your oponents with them by using the object as a melee weapon, or balistic missile. You also have a ton of moves at your disposal but I can't stress enough the fact that a three-move combo limit makes The Hulk seem less Hulkish, if you will, then he could have. I see the Hulk as a savage beast that tears things apart, never ceasing untill he's finished. The fact that your only allowed a three-attack combo at maximum severely lowers the feeling that your controlling Hulk.

Graphics: 5
Why: The graphics are in cartoonish style so as to appear to be from a comic book. This could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. For me, it doesn't matter, it's the gameplay that makes the game.

Sound: 7
Why: Annoying at times, but the tracks do seem to reflect The Hulk, and all he is. (loud, powerful, etc.)

Value: 7
Why: Simply speaking, the game is very-replayable with it's challenge modes. The campaign is fun, but isn't great, and the moves are good, but I would have liked to see Hulk do what he's known for, which is massive rampaging with unrelentless attacks. Not, bang bang bang. stop. bang bang bang. stop. You get the idea.

Reviewer's Tilt: 6
Why: I'd get this game simply for the challenge mode. It's very fun and I love the idea of savable High scores. However, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is a better Hulk game by a long shot and if your looking to choose between the two, I'd go for that one instead.
