Hexen: Beyond Heretic

Avoid at all costs... Hexen wasn't even worth me getting it for free!!

With abysmal graphics, even with the Expansion Pack, this incarnation of Hexen is just plain horrible. Frame rate drops combined with already choppy graphics made gameplay unbearable. The sound was decent, which was the best part of the game. I received this game free with the purchase of another, and it would have been better for me to pass on it than to take it, even at no cost to me. The PC version of Hexen, though not the graphical masterpiece, is exponentially better than this poor port over to the N64. If you are looking for a good FPS then consider any other N64 game... replay Goldeneye for the 2,734th time, but avoid Hexen
