As happy as I was to finally have a Harvest Moon for the PS2 (I didn't have a GC when I first got it) I was horribly dissapointed. Every Harvest Moon game has something that the previous HM game didn't. This one failed at that. There was nothing new in this at all. Its pretty much the same old same old. Although the graphics are rather decent, gameplay is lacking. I would have to say that this is the laziest Harvest Moon yet. You can't get married, can't have kids, don't have many tools, and the game just lacks what every other Harvest Moon has. I wouldn't suggest buying this video game unless you don't have a gamecube and absolutely MUST have a console Harvest Moon game. Even then, I would wait for the PS2 version of AWL to come out.
