An Overall Good Game.

User Rating: 7.5 | Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets PC
I believe this game is overall very good. The music that is played is very nice and suits the environment you are in. The default controls are somewhat difficult, but you have the option to change it. For the graphics, considering when this game was made, aren't bad at all. The game has a nice feel, and the gameplay is quite enjoyable. The bad parts of the game is that there's a odd feature in the game where when you learn spells, you must complete a "Simon Says" kind of game where you match the arrows "to the corresponding arrows" in the spell symbol. That is quite boring, and you must do that every time you learn a new spell. Also, the game play is somewhat quite linear. The game forces you to do a repeated schedule of: Go to a lesson, learn the spell, do the task of surviving the "dungeon" they throw you into, do the main storyline, Repeat. There IS Dueling later on in the game and Quidditch, but that too is quite linear and very boring. Also, it doesn't affect the outcome of the game. Quidditch for some reason increases your House Points (so does completing the "dungeons") which will allow you to enter the secret "Bonus Bean" challenge, where you are free to collect as many Bertie Bott's every flavor beans ( which is used as currency in the game), although House Points don't matter in the game and Gryffindor will always win the house cup in the end no matter what.

Overall, the game is quite good, although in my opinion, it is not innovative enough to deserve anything higher than a 7.5 for being an average game.
