Rail shooter in disguise.

User Rating: 4.5 | Halo 3 X360
Halo 3 is pleasant and I understand why many people like the game. I like the music. The quire part is very good. The learning curve is 0-5 minutes. It's easy and almost entirely lacks slow moments. It's action from start to finish. No dull moments at all. The game sort of flows forward. It's like watching an action-packed cartoon on TV. There are some vehicles to drive. A lot of enemies to shoot – bang bang bang! Some fun weapons to wield. I especially liked the gravity hammer and the heavy machine gun that I could dismount and carry with me. Unfortunately it's the same all of the time. It's a repetitive game. It's well crafted super-lite entertainment. Fun for a short while. That's because Halo 3 is a rail shooter. The track gauge may be broad but still, Halo 3 is only a rail shooter. And since I don't like rail shooters much, Halo 3 is not my kind of game.
