One of the greatest games of the year.
The one thing that I dont like about the online part of the game is how none of the old maps are in it. The new maps are all great and everything but there's no map that live up to coagulation. Eventhought that its a huge map, it was still fun to have that huge field to play in. I havent got that far in the campiagn, (one mission actually) but ive heard that its suprisingly short. That is of course dissapointing if you dont have online because then its game over for you then. The online play is what continues it for you and allows you to never get tired of playing halo 3.
The controlls in this game is differant and I dont feel it is for the better. They like to use the RB and the LB for picking up weapons and getting into vehicles. I just dont feel that is the best controll layout when youre playing. Also when your online the game always starts you off with the battle machine gun from halo 1. Lets just say that gun is horrible and it is so hard to find a decent gun to shoot. One thing that is awesome is the turret that can detach and become a weapon like all the other. The only catch is you move slower but man does it kick some @$$
I always used to use the smg and plasma rifle combo in H2 and now its very hard to stay alive long enough to get to use that combo.
Overall, its still fun, there are going to be some frustarions but of course, its the first day.
