This map pack is absolutely amazing. From the moment you set foot in one of the maps, you will be able to tell the level of detail. Sure you could say they could have added this or that but so what? At the end of the day, the number of extra maps is well worth the purchase. It even has some cool videos you can watch from the game designers. The multiplayer was highly developed in Halo 2 and didn't need critiquing. All that was missing was the sheer variety of maps and now, with this map pack, you have one of the greatest multiplayer experiences our of time. The spawn drops I feel are spot on. Honestly, the defaults are satisfying enough to last you a life time but it also is a thrill to mix and match in-your-hand spawn weapons. Also, this map pack gives you a well balanced mix of small maps to large and full lobby maps for 16 players.

Halo 2 is no longer "Live." But if you have a handful on buddies that you regularly game with, you can play via system link or even split screen. Order a pizza and have a blast teaming up with 2v2v2 matches etc. I'm speaking from experience. It's a lot of fun.
