Half-Life: Source

It's a good ride to kill the time while we still wait for Black Mesa Source to be released.

I am a huge HL fan. I have played through HL1 a number of times. This is not a huge step forward like the Classic Doom 3 Mod but it is still as good a ride as the original HL1 with a few small updates. Small graphic updates give it a little freshness and some might find the gliding effect a bit more sensitive than the original, at least I did, which made it a hair more challenging on hard. I wish this was Black Mesa Source as I have been waiting for the for ever! For $10 I would say get this game and play though again.

If you have never played HL1 you need to play this. No it won't knock your socks off because you kind of missed the boat, this game is 10 years old. O.O

If HL1 is a 9.8, this is a 9 only because it is not the original, but it is every bit as good. You can never go wrong with a HL game no matter how old.

  While the classic gameplay yet lives, Half-life: Source doesn't make enough changes to be recommendable.
