Another great addition to the series, a simply must play for any FPS fan.
The story is something that I don't really want to spoil for you, it's really deep and continues straight from Episode 1. This has always been another great thing about Half Life, also there isn't no cutscencs which there never has been. Some might want them but I thank it works out just fine and it's perfect for this game. You'll also see Alyx and her dog return, and the famous G-Man.
The gameplay is just as fun as it has always been, there hasn't really been any changes done to it though witch isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Because to me it's always worked out for the best and if they keep it like that for ever it will always work for the best.
The weapons are all the same you have always seen which some may want to see new weapons, even if they added at least one new weapons would be good. But it isn't a big deal because they work perfect especially the great Gravity Gun that we all seem to love very much.
The graphics are still running on a 4 year old engine I thank and they still look amazing. I mean they aren't the best you can find on a PC but for a FPS yes they are. Just like always the environments looks nice and is nicely done. And the same goes for all the character models, for the game to still look great on an old engine like this says something.
The sounds are another great thing about Episode 2, they are all nice and great to listen to. The voice acting to the sound effects like the guns. There all nice and you'll appreciate how well they are done.
Overall Half Life 2:Episode 2 is just another fantastic addition to the series, and I can't wait for more. The game also has a lot of replay value in it I've beat it like 3 times already and plan to beat it even more until Episode 3 comes out. If you're a big FPS fan than you'll be a fan of this as well, you'll really enjoy it a lot
