Guitar Hero introduces a new type of music game, featuring a plastic, fully painted guitar with 5 colored buttons and a strum bar where you would normally strum a real guitar. There are also difficulty levels so that players may choose according to their skill. The point of the game is to hit notes on screen kind of DDR style, while strumming, using the whammy bar, and activating "star power" to boost your score. You activate star power by holding the guitar vertical. The game is awesome the first two times you play through it then gets kind of stale near playing the fourth time. The guitars are also liable to break if dropped, and with no online mode there isnt much to do besides own your freinds in multiplayer after you beat the game a few times. In short, guitar hero rocks the world!
