A good amount of content but unfortunately it isn't expanded enough to make it an excellent game, but still pretty good!

There's not many Real Time Strategy games on the PS2 and the game GrimGrimoire really did a pretty good job in combining fantasy and RTS together. Although the game can improve in many different ways, but overall its a pretty good game and is worth playing. In terms of Gameplay, it is pretty addictive, like many other RTS games, the player needs mana to cast and create magical runes and creatures to aid you in battle. The storyline is pretty interesting but the downfall is that its TOO SHORT!!....there are 25 stages that create the story and each stage, they only use around 2 minutes to tell the story. Although battles are pretty interesting but in the beginning, its quite easy when you create a load of chimera or dragons followed by a pack of elves to heal them.

Graphics wise, this game is very unique...although in the story telling, the characters don't really move but during battles its really interesting looking at the beautiful cell-shaded figures move and attack your enemies.
Sounds is pretty cool and the effects are pretty amazing when you have a dragon or a chimera on your team and makes these awesome noises and effects

Although this game is worth playing, but its not a game that can be played over and over again since this game is SO linear that it'll be boring to play again after knowing what happens in the end the first time round. This is a game that can be recommended to fans of Japanese games or RTS games...but like i said...overall this game is worth playing ^_^
