Episodes from Liberty City combines the two GTA 4 Expansions, 'The Lost and Damned' and 'The Ballad of Gay Tony'.
In Lost and Damned, you control, Johnny Klebitz, second-in-command of the Lost Motorcycle Club; the city's most notorious biker gang. You engage in turf wars and dealings with rival bikers 'Angels of Death'. New weapons include a sawn-off shotgun, a grenade launcher, and highly destructive pipe bombs.
In Ballad of Gay Tony, you control Luis Lopez; something of a hit man for Tony Prince, owner of two of the city's best night clubs. You deal with drug running, backroom brawls and some Russians who want to kill your boss. To help you are some new weapons, including remote explosives, a machine gun and a rapid fire automatic shotgun.
Both of these games intertwine with the GTA 4 Storyline, with each giving a little background to their own particular parts of the GTA 4 Story.
