The best deal for your PlayStation
Those who say they are "True Fans" of the GTA franchise... arnt really dedicated to it if they havnt played the games that started it all.
The collectors pack edition for the PS was a good deal at the time, 3 games for £30 odd. It contained the original GTA, then GTA: London 69' mission pack and finally GTA 2.
GTA was the game that started all of it and had all three cities in it
Liberty
Vice
San Andreas (Was originally one big city in the original, PS2 version contains 3 states).
It was one of the games that taught us to be bad.. the big start whiched changed gaming forever.
GTA was originally a fresh new experience which nobody had really ever seen before:
It was based in modern day
Flashy sports cars
it was a sandbox crime simulation basically.
Although with Its birdseye view gameplay, people thought the game as completely legendary.
Still as Rockstar continue to grow their franchise... its not as fresh anymore... since many games have used rockstars original idea... making such games as Driver and Saints row to name a few.
But no-one must ever forget
GTA is the godfather of all crime games.
GTA London 69' was basically the same as the original GTA.
But was more satisfying to those who fancied themselves as a bit of a Mod back in the 60's. GTA London was humourus and still exciting, with a classic london soundtrack and cockney geezers at your every turn picking a fight with you. It was legendary and is still amazing now.
GTA 2 was a completely new turn, still using the birdseye view, it offered a completely new story, city, character, cars, and more gangs.
GTA 2 was a bit like a retro version of Mercenaries, with different gangs from the Yakuzas to the triads you had to gain their respect... though it would upset other gangs... leaving you other things to deal with.
The game was a bit more future based, things were very very different. It wasnt as violent as the previous games but it was exciting... and kept you playing just as long as before.
Still even today this is an amazing deal. Its probably in this age extremely cheap, yet ... even if you dont own a PS but have a PS2 somewhere which you probabably have somewhere i recommend getting it.
