Just spent my hour on the Gotham City Impostors demo and I have to say it was quite fun. It is suppose to have 1000 unlockable levels and the gameplay is quite similar to COD. The Team Fortress similarity only really comes in the style and wackiness of the game and maybe classes. Only con in my opinion is the amount of players and I only had time on the console version so I disliked the matchmaking system. There is no mid-join I think and you can't switch teams when it's uneven. But It's an easy game to jump into and you might get a few laughs from the quirky and wacky characters.
I tried the demo on the PS3 and the visuals disappointed me quite a bit, because everything seems so washed out. Either way you can easily jump into the game and have fun. I'd say it's worth the price tag currently for the amount of game time you can get from it. I believe they could've done more if they had the time, but so far it seems an okay game.
