Why save the world...when you can rule it!

User Rating: 8 | GoldenEye: Rogue Agent PS2
Nothing can describe the feeling when you face your first moral decision.
An enemy is begging for his life, what do you do, what should you do? You COULD let him live and receive NO reward. Well this is an easy one, push him of the ledge and watch how he falls into a giant lava pit.
Cruel? Muhaha no my friend, this is the simple life of an villain!

First things first, noticeable in Goldeneye: RA is the good menu layout and it's quality. It's fun to navigate and well designed.

At your disposal you'll have both a singleplayer feature aswel as a multiplayer one. For those who haven't had the chance to look at there settings long enough, you can still change them in the option menu. Here you can adjust screen and sound settings moreover the controller settings & button layout. The singleplayer feature has 3 difficulty settings which is more then enough. The menu layout is designed for replayability, if you would like to play a previous game with different difficulty setting etc...

Once into the game (singleplayer) you'll get an introduction about the main storyline. Some may say it's not one of the best but that not one of Rogue Agent's strong points. In Goldeneye: Rogue Agent (=RA) you are the weapon that has gone wrong. Luckily for you there is a whole business open for people like you! In singleplayer & multiplayer you'll have a wide arange of locations. From the typically boss fortress somewhere in the middle of the ocean to a Japanese Yakuza setting.

For your entertainment, euh I meant for your defence you'll be able to handle two guns (dual-wielding). You can pick up any gun and use it along side another one. If guns isn't just your thing I can use a melee attack upon your enemy. You can bash 'em to death or use them as shields.

The title says: Goldeneye: Rogue agent. Now your thinking what's the goldeneye part doing there? Well you can use your eye to do all sorts of stuff. It has 4 functions which you will unlock during progression within the game. The functions are: shielding, wallhacking (looking though walls), hacking and magnetic manipulation (throwing people against the wall...).
Simple reminder: DO NOT expect intense thinking work. To be rude it's a shooter where you put your brain to zero and start killing things. (Actually, to survive in combat you need to thing allot but you get the point)

The multiplayer is good but not great. You'll have good maps to play on and settings to toy with (which weapons are allowed, which eyepowers...).
You'll have various gametypes, moreover fun to play with your friends. (now you have a reason to invite them and make sure they know why your the best at this cruelty thing)

To make a long story short:
- Lots of action
- Decent graphics
- Don't you like it being cruel?
- Lots of weapons
- Decent multiplayer
- Working alongside villains like Dr. No
- Bond dies!
