A good game, but it doesn't have the guts to succeed as the best.

Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, is an Ok game but it is definitley like one of those guilty pleasure games. Goldeneye is certainly a strong shooter, but it just doesn't have a good story like The Halo Series. I believe that the weapon collection is a bit small, but you won't get bored of dispatching enemies with them, these include the Jackal .357 handgun all the way to the Longbow SR sniper rifle (very fun). The voice acting of the grunts and main characters is good but not great. The phrases they say are somewhat meaningful, like shouting "Dual Weapons!" when you actually have dual weapons. Graphics are good but the flatness in emotions and expression is limited. Although, while holding an enemy hostage the enemies gun may waver as if trying to shoot around the hostage, something that is uncommon in most games of it's time. It's a hard game but beating it will pay off in the end no matter how much time you spent on the *spoiler* Hoover Dam. Goldeneye is good if you have a last gen system but if you can get a better game leave this one on the shelf.
