Goldeneye 007 Review, past outlook, and present outlook too.

User Rating: 8.5 | GoldenEye 007 N64
Alright guys, I'm gonna get in the habit of reviewing games from now on. I can't believe I never saw this feature before. Oh well. Better late than never.

This review is going to be about Goldeneye 007 for the N64. And I want to start backwards, from the present time of how it looks to me, and how it used to look back in 97/98.

Having said that: let us begin.

Present point of view:

This game I believe it only good for the multiplayer only these days (Whether 2 player or 4 player (Or possibly 3))

But what I really don't like about playing this game are the controllers. I can't get used to the movement layout. N64 controllers are very 1997 and hard to get used to. If you can get used to them, then my hat off to you.

I would just prefer if they released an updated version on any other system. Would be fun.

Now the reason why multiplayer is fun is because of the various strategies involved. Some weapons are overpowering, some are underpowering, and you can even use slappers when you don't have any weapons!! (Awesome!) Also great stages and timed arenas are there should you choose them.

The weapon varieties are great too.

Now to the single player. Single player hasn't aged well. I would recommend skipping it unless you really have a burning passion to play the game for one reason or another. Better technologies have come in video games and have surpassed Goldeneye 007.

My past point of view:

Aweeeesome FPS game man!! Best that's ever been made!!!
Loved every single piece of it!!!
