Was looking for a good-ol 4 player party game, but this didn't seem to be it

I was intrigued to play this game because it was capable of 1-4 players. And I'm a big fan of 4 player games so I can invite friends and get some gaming going on. So I rented this game and tried it out. Grahpics: 7 I'll start off the visuals because it's the easiest thing to spot out. The renders of the models looked very nice. Infact, I was even slightly impressed by the models. There was a very nice frames per second rate, which made the models mode very smoothly and nicely. The environment on the other hand is another story. Very plain looking, and not impressive at all. Most the buildings were just boxes with no textures and little shading. Sound: 4 The sound was one of the worst qualities of the game. Most of the characters' sounds were low quality, and a lot of the characters' voices/noises just sounded annoying. The music was nothing impressive either. Gameplay: 5 The game play can be described as Rampage mixed with Power Stone. Most of you know what Rampage is. If you don't know what Power Stone is or don't know how it plays, it's pretty much like Super Smash Bros but with a completely 3d roaming environment instead of a 2d roaming environment. Anyways, the characters had very few and basic controls and attacks. Jump, Punch, Kick, Block, Grab/Throw, and Shoot. That's pretty much it. There are no special moves or anything. The characters move very slowly, and makes it frustrating to play because of the slow speed. And this is were the 4 player capabilities of the game is ruined. It's just too slow for having you and 3 other people run around in the city, crushing buildings and fighting each other. Replay Value: 3 Unless you get sucked into the game, and want to beat the game on the hardest difficulty just so you can see the true ending to each character's single player mode, there's not much replay value to this game. If you want a 4 player game to just beat up 3 of your friends, I'd suggest Def Jam: Fight For NY instead of this, or if you have a Game Cube, stick with Smash Bros.
