Whoa ho ho...the first time I saw the demo to this game, I was sold!

I'll never forget the day that I first laid eyes on this game in 2005...I had just got my braces removed and was picking my pre-ordered PSP up from Gamestop when I looked over and saw someone owning the Hydra with Kratos. I had seen nothing like it before...the button sequences guiding you through a serious beat down of an epic creature. The cliff hanger ending of the demo definately left me wondering what was next.

Where do I begin...since embarking on the gaming world in 1988, I have never seen anyone kick as much @ss in an action game as Kratos did in GOW! Crushing, slicing, dicing, smashing, ripping, decapitating...anything your sick little heart desires, I'm sure Kratos had done to someone at some point in the game. And you see all this in the best graphics possible on the PS2! The only things that I didn't like about the game was the uselessness of the secondary weapons (for the exception of the large blade you get) and how easy the final boss was.

- The Graphics for its time
- The Mayhem
- The Gore
- The button sequences
- Your primary weapon
- The story

What's Not-So-Good:

- Not many other useful weapons
- Disappointing final boss fight
- Enemies in the instruction manuel that never show up in this game

What's Bad:

- I've got nothin...

In all, one of the best games on the PS2...hands down. Before its release, I regarded Devil May Cry as the best action game on the PS2 but Sony definately out did Capcom and themselves with this!
