KRATOS UNLEASHED!!!
PROS:
This game has lots to offer from puzzle-solving to hack-n-slashing to beating the **** out of your controller! The story is about a mortal man who went to war with his army and lost terribly but a god (Aries) decided to help him instead of kill him so Kratos started serving him. Kratos killed everyone that Aries ordered and just became this monstrous monster (LOL i dont know how else to describe it) He killed thousands and even SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER. After he realized what he has done, he had decided he's had enough and goes on an adventure to find Pandora's Box to defeat the god Aries. The story is compelling and interesting. Mythology is cool so i got into it. The ending is satisfying and the story is just off the hook (whatever) The gameplay is hack-n-slash. You hack-n-slash the **** through your enemies. There are satisying bosses throughout the game (see CONS for the down side) You get into Kratos' character. His personality is angry and disgusting and evil. More evil than most protagonists in games. Of course he realizes the evil he's done and decides to do some good. I beat the game in about 8 hours which is satisfying enough for the game especially since there are still two other games out there that i need to play immediately. After you beat the game there are lots and lots of extras to look through. For example they have the making of God of War and they show you deleted levels. There's a God Mode which is a highly more difficult version of the game. Anyways, just a bunch of stuff.
CONS:
There are very few cons for the game, but still some of course. As much as i heard about the infamous boss battles in the God of War games. I expected there to be a lot more in this game. There's only about 3 or 4 bosses which is dissapointing. The sequels better have more! The game starts out pretty slow with more gameplay than story but gets better throughout the game. Some stages are frikkin frustrating and are almost impossible to beat on hard or normal unless you're a pro but i'm a noob at God of War. Some puzzles took ages to solve after you realize how dumb you were to not find the solution. I think they should have made a more forgiving normal mode for newcomers. Let all those pros play on hard mode.
Overview:
Anyways, not a lot of Cons and more Pros than cons (LOL that sounded wierd but i don't know how else to put it). This game has a lot of offer especially since it's an adventure action game. More originality than most games these days. The story and gameplay is satisfying and the difficulty could be more satisfying. The puzzles are fun to solve but sometimes frustrating especially since some require you to accomplish something in time. If you're like me before i played this game and haven't played the game yet, then go check it out, because there is a reason that God of War is one of the most famous games on the planet. Woo wow woo Wag23 out.
