I feel sometimes that some games get a bad-rap. When I read about this game, it wasn't highly praised. But, I thought I would check it out anyways. I was glad I did. Sure, it's no Warcraft or anything. But, it is a very good console real-time strategy game. You play the role as a goblin clan leader. Your king (or whatever) was brutally murdered and you go to the other clan leaders to unite. Instead they all just attack you and so goes the battles. Eventually you find out the real truth about who's behind the evil. I liked the story. Sure, it's not RPG-ish, but it's pretty good. The gameplay is pure RTS. Since it is on a console, it's been simplified somewhat. Some people didn't like this. I didn't mind, however. I always feel that is what has been the problem with translating PC RTS's over to the consoles in the past. I won't go into every detail of the gameplay. Just know that it plays like a simplified version of Warcraft. And in a good way. The graphics aren't all that great. I never really was complaining about them, but they definately could have been better. The voice acting was pretty good and so was the music. The game isn't too high on presentation, but that's why it was a budget price. I love RTS games. And it's rare any console system gets a decent one. Well, here is your chance. If you like Warcraft, I would pick this game up. It's not as complex or deep, but it's a fun time.
